Every month we will choose our favorite places to say yes from the best wedding locations at the moment.

From newly opened country houses to barn conversions, we have all the facts on the best new and outstanding venues for your big day every month.
Venue of the Month: Callow Hall
This month our focus is on Callow Hall, a venue that opened in September 2021 in the Peak District near Ashbourne.
Part of the premier Wildhive Collection of hotels, this exclusive venue is an elegant Victorian country house with beautiful treehouse rooms for the bridal shower and newlyweds, adding a unique element to the celebrations.
Nestled among ancient woods and meadows, Callow Hall offers a range of beautiful rooms for everything from drinks receptions and civil ceremonies to wedding breakfasts, exclusively for up to 80 guests.
Guests can stay “in the house” or “in the wild,” with rooms that combine rugged wilderness with coziness. With 28 beautiful suites, luxurious tree houses adorned with outdoor bathrooms and glamping hives to call your own, exclusive use of this rural hideaway takes the stress out of finding accommodation and transport for guests.
In addition, guests can enjoy afternoon tea in the Secret Garden, picnics by the creek, and a sauna and steam room with organic and thermal spa treatments. Callow Hall can even arrange a hot air balloon ride for the newly married couple to soar above the trees.

When it comes to dining, we love the Callow Hall’s total flexibility – whether it’s a feast in the woods or an aperitif in the wild meadow, or canapés and cocktails in the country house living room.
Creative menus are tailored to each couple and created using ingredients sourced from Farm & Wild, Sea & Coast – think Duck Breast in Earl Gray Tea Jus, Cornish Ray Wing, Smoked Goose Breast and more, plus catering for vegetarians and vegans perfectly too Plant-based wellies and cauliflower steaks.
Then, before and after the wedding, whether you are a foodie wanting to sample local restaurants, a keen cyclist or a keen walker, the surrounding Peak District offers endless walking routes, stately homes and local villages.
With a total of 15 House Rooms, 11 Waldhives, and two Treehouses, Callow Hall can accommodate up to 65 guests, meaning that if you want to accommodate 80 guests, you only need to find 15 additional accommodations. Exclusive prizes start at £30,000.
