The team at Caravan project events believes that every celebration has its own unique aura. The floral design and foliage of a wedding are deeply personal to every couple. The botanicals not only reflect the warring personal style and character, but can also lend emotions and soul to an occasion such as the notes of a symphony.

Caravan Projects paired with botanical designers, Maria Voudourito create a range of floral arrangements for the warmer months of 2021. Her goal was to express the ease and optimism of the new season as the world moves forward again.

The team brought nature into play and channeled seasonality into eight distinctive and style-defining compositions. Forsythia, cercis, tulips, ranunculus, iris, wisteria, daffodils, nasturtiums, matthiola, chaenomeles japonica and paulownia were the botanical elements in these stunning flower pods.

The first inspiration for this floral symphony series comes from the “History of flowers“, A botanical animation by Tokyo-based artist and botanical sculptor Azuma Makoto. This incredible work portrays the life cycle of flowers through intricate and emotional illustrations. The team wanted to bring the beauty that Makoto captures in his art to life through lively arrangements.

Maria Voudouri talks about her inspiration: “One of the things I love most about flowers is that in their natural state they are not content with one place. Instead, they tend to sprout against grass, swaying, curling and looping, following the movement of light and wind, and therefore often appear asymmetrical in their weave. Since part of the wedding style is aimed at keeping the guests in suspense, I wanted this natural movement, the dynamism of the stems and the locomotion of the grapes to be visible. ”

Maria is a true artist who chose to work on each arrangement in its own unique space to draw inspiration from. These absolutely stunning blooms have been styled with love letters, stationery suites, delicate china, fresh fruit, and little treasure troves for a truly cheerful touch.
