The history: This styled wedding shoot serves as inspiration for fashion-conscious couples. The focus is on luxury, elegance and high-end fashion photography.

The site: Tourreau Castle, an exceptional historic venue on 20 hectares in Provence, France. This is the real fairytale castle Wedding destination. The striking colors of the castle facade reflect the colors of earth, stone, trees, fruits and flowers, give this region its unique character and form the perfect backdrop for an outdoor celebration in the warmer months.

The atmosphere: Demanding, elegant, creative and stylish. This is the kind of wedding that little girls and grown women all over the world dream of.

The details: This shoot revolved around a white color palette. The first day included a boudoir session in the castle’s living room, followed by an intimate couples session with a stunning wedding dress designed by the Elisa Ness Studio. The second day of the shoot was dedicated to photographing the flatlays, the wedding cake, the tablescape, the ceremony and the couple in the heart of the castle. For this shoot, the bride wore a wedding dress designed by Thibaut Lauvergne. The ceremony was set up in front of the castle in the beautiful afternoon light with magnificent flower work by Capucine Atelier flowers and four hanging chandeliers installed overhead Phos events. The stunning white on white layered wedding cake designed by MonAnnie cake played with different shapes and heights and was decorated with delicate sugar flowers.

Tips & highlights:

To bring the feel of fashion photography into the shoot, the team focused on the poses of the models (especially the bride) as well as the hair and makeup styling (e.g. the white lines on the bride’s eyelids during the boudoir shoot) .

With the flatlays, the photographers played with a light stroke to break up the linear look and attract the viewer’s attention.
A long table for sixteen guests was set up in front of the castle for the reception. An al fresco dinner is a wonderful way to enjoy the surroundings and celebrate a villa wedding with your guests.
