The history: This escape was designed to inspire couples who want an intimate yet funky wedding amidst the wonderful colors and scents of the sea.

The site: the Abruzzo The region is located in central Italy, just 50 km from Rome. It borders the Adriatic Sea to the east, the Marche to the north, Lazio to the west and Molise to the south. It is one of the few Italian regions with beaches, hills and mountains, and it is full of castles, forts, historic cities of art, charming stone towns on hills and more than a third of the region is protected parkland.

The atmosphere: Coastal romance meets floral fantasy. Get married where the golden sand hugs the blue of the sea. The combination of elegant and vintage elements creates an original and breathtaking look.

The details: The bride Chloe wore a luscious short jumpsuit made of lace with a transparent skirt and detachable puff sleeves from the Milanese atelier of Isabella Caposano. Lucas wore a dark blue three-piece suit with eye-catching button details from Atelier Difino. The table setting was intimate but luxurious, for six under a rustic white gazebo on the beach. This was adorned with wow factor blooms, including umbrella-shaped arrangements that hung from the roof. A nearby beach swing was gilded with hanging purple delphinium. This celebration ended on a bang with a pyrotechnic from Pyrofantasy.

Tips & highlights:

• An elopement, or micro-wedding, is an excellent option for low-key couples who prefer to celebrate their marriage with a small group of loved ones.
• If you are considering a beach wedding, sunset is a great time to celebrate. The golden hour, the time just before sunset when the daylight is redder and softer than when the sun is higher in the sky, is an ideal time to take stunning photos for your wedding album.
• The newlyweds used in this shoot are a real couple. For wedding professionals, using real couples for shoots creates a certain chemistry that may be harder to achieve when working with models.
