The history: Gertrude & Dávid decided to get married at the stunning Lake Bled in Slovenia. The natural beauty of the local landscape was stunning so they wanted this to be the star of the show and opted for minimal decoration.

The site: The picturesque Lake Bled which is in the northwest Slovenia. Forest-covered mountains surrounded by beautiful, calm, crystal-clear water make Lake Bled one of the most popular tourist destinations in Slovenia. It is also a perfect location for an exotic destination wedding.

The atmosphere: Old world charm with breathtaking views. The scenery around Lake Bled is breathtaking and what better way to experience it than on the water with your loved ones, even if this is just the entrance to your wedding celebration.

The details: The color palette for this wedding was all about earth tones (greens and whites) with gold accents. Some rich dark greens were used for stationery items such as the menus. Green pairs beautifully with the gold and gold accents used in the seating and really elevates the aesthetic in an old world way. To ensure that the details do not overshadow the natural beauty of the local landscape, flowers have been kept to a minimum.
