The history: This styling shoot was born out of the desire to create something unique for a same-sex wedding. Classic styles are common in bridal magazines and websites. However, this creative team wanted to bring a fresh and modern twist to bridal design by celebrating the love of two women with a dynamic spirit in an urban context. Their worldly and eccentric personalities are reflected in the various pastel and neon colors that are the focus of this shoot.
The site: The Italian metropolis of Milan. This shoot took place in a beautiful and nifty studio called ‘Cross Studio’ and also el fresco in one of the most famous and modern squares in Milan, the Piazza Gae Aulenti. The chosen interior resembled an industrial-style loft.
The atmosphere: Urban pop. Saturated, bold colors combined with modern textures like acrylic, feathers and dried flowers make this the perfect celebration for strong women. Confident, unexpected, and pretty, this is a celebration of modern queer love.
The details: The table setting offers versatile tableware with eye-catching, dazzling details that the stationery suite and the non-traditional fuchsia wedding dress by. add to Millia London. This colorful palette is complemented by dried flower arrangements that blend in perfectly with contemporary styling. Rings were exchanged under a cloud of dried flowers full of color.
Tips & highlights:
- The non-traditional neon colors used in wedding styling.
- A bold yet feminine look with a fresh selection of a colorful wedding dress and jumpsuit, ideal for a same-sex wedding.
- When you have stunning natural scenery like the city of Milan, consider how to incorporate it into your wedding photos, especially if the location has a special meaning.
