The history: The inspiration for this styled wedding shoot was minimalist elegance, using neutral, earthy tones to create a sophisticated and sophisticated look that is appealing and accessible to modern brides.
The site: Magazine at Heeresbäckerei in Berlin-Kreuzberg, Germany. This event room is an impressive industrial monument with a nostalgic flair. Located on the Spree and formerly used as a warehouse, the building including the magnificent hall has been renovated in such a way that it respects and empathizes its historical charm.
The atmosphere: Monocramatic modernist. This look is all about clean lines and beautiful silhouettes. Cosmopolitan and feminine, think of champagne in intricate crystal flutes.
The details: The color palette used included numerous soft neutrals such as white, nude, soft pink, coffee with milk and caramel. A soft gradient has been added to the flowers and candles, creating a feeling of warmth. The fragrant champagne colored sweet peas added some texture to the floral arrangements. This formed the perfect contrast to the compactly shaped carnations. The minimalist table decoration was paired with beautiful floral motifs, which contributed to the desired elegance. The bride wore the widely flared and heavily falling pia skirt Ritual associations which was made of draped silky crepe. This has been paired with a sequined and beaded classic sweetheart corset for some embellishment.
Tips & highlights:
- If you’re thinking of going with a neutral color palette, try different textures to add some depth to your look. A good example of this was the glassware and twisted candles that were used on the table landscape, combined with the matt black cutlery.
- For bridal items such as a skirt and top or corset, a belt can be used to pull your look together (see 18 bridal belts for your wedding look). Here the pleated blind Pia belt from Ritual Unions, a statement belt with ruffles, was used to create a progressive and modern bridal look.
- With scents floating around your boat, remember to pick flowers that have a flavor and complement the other flowers you have chosen to create a dream bouquet.
