The history: This romantic proposal was designed and created by Daniela Battistini Wedding & Events at the request of Karim, who wanted to ask Fiorella for the hand in an unforgettable way. Karim lured Fiorella to the beach for a couple photoshoot. When she arrived, Karim sank to one knee and asked his beach beauty to be his wife. This romantic moment was captured by Giulia Pini Personal Photographer and Sara Canducci Wedding Films.
The site: Fiorenzuola di Focara, Italy. On the border between Romagna and Marche, a winding hill road leads to this small Italian town surrounded by the sparkling Adriatic. You can get lost in the city’s medieval streets before exploring the stunning coastline and beautiful nature.
The atmosphere: A wildly romantic beach engagement. Fluffy pampas grass swaying in the gentle sea breeze, with driftwood used to build a beautiful shelter for our lovers. This romantic cabin was made with embroidered pillows, macrame-covered hanging candles, fairy lights and rustic flower arrangements by. decorated Raffaella Ansaloni.
The details: Fiorella was attracted to Boutique Alba and wore shoes from Christian Louboutin (before going barefoot) and was styled to match her boho-siren look. After the application, the couple went to the nearby San Bartolo Natural Park, known by locals as “The Roof of the World” for its breathtaking panoramic views. In May, the area is full of yellow wildflowers, making it a perfect setting for a post-engagement couple shoot at sunset.
Highlights and tips:
- If you’re planning a surprise engagement, make sure to clear up your story beforehand so you don’t screw up the surprise. We recommend practicing with a friend to make sure the real deal goes smoothly.
- If you want to get involved in a natural setting and have a photographer with you, make sure you know and have access to the best of what Mother Nature has to offer. An exploration tour is advisable.
- Engaged couples should feel no pressure to discuss wedding plans until they are ready and should feel entitled to take full advantage of being referred to as a “fiancé.” If someone asks you when you want to get married but you haven’t set a date, politely let them know how happy you are with the engagement and that you will let them know when you have finalized your plans.
