The history: A modern British spring wedding. The concept for this shoot was an intimate wedding with cheerful splashes of color in a beautiful, trendy mustard yellow. Mustard is usually paired with dark colors for fall weddings, but this shoot highlights the cheerful qualities of mustard by combining it with pastel coral tones and lavish floral designs.

The site: The old rectory Berkshire is an idyllic setting for a British country wedding. Couples receive exclusive use of the elegant country house, the manicured grounds and the recently renovated orangery, which can accommodate up to 140 guests.

The atmosphere: London Chelsea vibes with spring flowers. A color palette that screams for spring, with a surprising star made of mustard yellow with a touch of light blue and pink. A modern, bold and bright fiesta.

The details: The modern and edgy ‘Ivy’ jumpsuit and the flashy mustard-colored alternative dress for the bride are both from London Love spell. The mustard colored outfit really banged against the venue, the groom’s bohemian suit, and the bride’s bow-edged heels Charlotte Mills. The lush cloud of flowers hanging over the table landscape is contemporary and chic.

Zannah out Rose hip bespoke floristry describes her inspiration for this flower installation:

“With the floral cloud, I wanted to create something that would use both fresh and dried flowers / leaves with a loose and organic feel. I used different grasses, pampas, eucalyptus, moss and gypsophila. I used a gentle palette of creams, greens, and grays with splashes of mustard grass and pink pampas. The gypsophila added a touch of delicate pink. Everything crowned with gold-dipped pink feathers. “

• If you’re going for an eye-catching dress, let it do the talking and keep your accessories simple.
