The site: The Old Butter Factory in Entangled, which is modestly on the main drag of the quaint town of Dayboro, Queensland. This rough and earthy venue offers an eclectic mix of vintage allure, industrial charm, and elegant sophistication. Essentially rural yet conveniently located close to the city, only 50 minutes from Brisbane. This venue adds warmth and personality to any celebration.

The atmosphere: An Alice in Wonderland adventure, this editorial is all about getting carried away and losing track of time. It’s eclectic, ethereal, and feminine. This floral fantasy uses beautiful and unique lush features and styling to add a little magic to this joyful moment full of nervous energy.

The details: A The color palette of pastel pink, lavender and cream has been contrasted with bright green tones and the occasional light splash of color. The real highlight of this shoot, however, was the floral design. Nadja from Le Sans Souci created stunning floral arrangements, hairpieces / panels, flower crowns and decorated a vintage umbrella with an intricate floral design. The floating wedding dress from George Wu Couture and the couture cake from EKats are perfectly paired with the whimsical floral styling.

Tips & highlights:

This shoot has been postponed due to COVID-19 related lockdowns. The team took advantage of this delay to further plan, adjust, and refine their creative vision.
It was crucial to stay true to the vision and find the perfect location for this shoot. So much of the setting and vibe was enhanced by the lush and eclectic venue.
When considering an elaborate floral design, team up with a florist who has a creative mind and nimble hands to ensure you are creating something truly wonderful.
