The history: The vision for this romantic wedding shoot in a villa arose from the desire to unite history, beauty and nature in the picturesque hills of Tuscany. The creative team wanted to achieve an elegant and timeless style with a modern flair by combining unusual flower combinations with sophisticated table decorations to offer a unique wedding experience.

The site: Villa La Commenda Concordia, Italy. This historic villa is an hour’s drive from Florence in the breathtaking Mugello Valley. The beautiful villa with its frescoes has been restored in all its glory and a family of peacocks roams the exquisite gardens. This venue welcomes children ages 12 and up and can be rented for special occasions such as weddings.

The atmosphere: An intimate, elegant party in a beautiful location. This wedding is about getting carried away in the moment. From the pretty stationery suite to the sophisticated table landscape, there is a gentle beauty that stands for love and romance.

The details: The main inspiration for this shoot was the delicate pink color palette. Various shades of delicate pink and blush were overlaid with earthy decor elements and natural flowers. Some orange, green and purple tones have been added as a contrast. Antha Studio are passionate about finding and incorporating natural and local elements in their beautiful flower installations. They used a beautiful bouquet of hops for both the table decoration and a stunning cloud of flowers that was installed in the villa. Clematis vitalba, figs, pumpkins, grapes, roses, celosia and white pepper completed the bizarre flower arrangement on the table.

• For a budget-friendly local feel, consider having flowers in places that can be collected for your arrangements. In the early morning hours, Antha Studio took long walks in the hills around the villa to gather natural and earthy elements that could be incorporated into their arrangements and came back with a real bonus.
• Use local elements to bring out the beauty of the place. In this case, peacock feathers were collected on the property and incorporated into the flat sheets and table arrangements.
