The history: This minimalist and modern bridal shoot is the perfect inspiration for an indoor elopement and offers some great ideas for fending off the insane weather in Washington state.
The atmosphere: Pure and simple design – the team’s goal was to create a modern and clear aesthetic without sacrificing romance. Much of the design inspiration came from fashionable Italian and Spanish weddings.
The flowers: As with the rest of the design for the day, it was all about blending simplicity with a touch of old-school romance. The flowers were simple, elegant, organic and wild. The team wanted to present them in such a way that they looked like they had been picked from a Tuscan wildflower field.
The details: The wedding dress was the first point of inspiration around which the entire shoot revolved. The team put this stunning gown in the spotlight by pairing it with a lightweight, beige suit for the groom (it stays simple). A cream colored landscape with small splashes of color here and there kept the whole thing clean and chic.
Highlights:
- Raised wine glasses make for a fabulous table color, especially the balance between vintage and modern.
- Balance is the key – create a harmonious balance between cream and a colorful palette by making the lively accents delicate and conscious.
- Think carefully about your flower choices. Adding papaya really gave this shoot a fun spring feeling.
