Georgi Mamajanyan

Today’s guest is a special one. As a longtime partner of Wishup, Georgi and his team of SEO ninjas have always excelled in delivering results and hitting deadlines.

With my experience of working with his team for over a year, I can truly say that they are on their way to greatness.

Georgi hails from Armenia, a small country with rich culture. After graduating from Jean Moulin (Lyon III), Georgi started working as an SEO intern and quickly realized his passion for SEO.

Most recently, Georgi Mamajanyan founded his company and stated that SayNine entered the game. After accomplishing this remarkable feat at such a young age, we invited Georgi to take some time to shed light on his incredible journey and tell us more about his organization.

How did you come up with the brand name SayNine?

We use nine main strategies to acquire backlinks and there are nine steps we automate to do the off-page SEO from keyword research to getting the links live. So it was fitting to call it SayNine.

The motivation behind founding the company and how did you come up with the idea?

Idleness!! Yes, I came across Saynine.ai because I had to deal with tedious manual tasks that were getting on my nerves.

When I was an intern in 2019, I discovered mouse-keyboard automation and the possibilities that a simple Google spreadsheet can offer.

Fast forward to 2022, we use our tools for most off-page SEO tasks and we’ve completely banned manual tasks for our agency.

What problems does your company (product) solve for its customers?

We help companies to get better rankings with SAAS backlinks. In short, we deliver backlinks that don’t sell.

Who is your target market? And how do you find your customers?

Our target are SAAS companies who usually have an in-house SEO team and are aware of the impact of SAAS backlinks. We’re bad at sales and we’re bad at PR, but we rock at off-page SEO; When we help our clients multiply their traffic, they refer their friends. This is how we win new customers.

In the face of fierce competition in today’s business environment, how would you highlight your company’s competitive advantages? What makes it stand out from the crowd?

price-quality-quantity. The majority of link building agencies

  • Use third-party tools
  • Having to do time-consuming tasks manually
  • Have a strategy that won’t let them scale

We have

  • Our own tools
  • We have automated all manual tasks
  • Our strategy can handle almost any number of links per month, not per client when talking about the total number of links served.

Any early struggles you can think of that you overcame in the business?

I started on my own and eventually hired interns. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough money to afford an office so we worked remotely which to be honest was hell. I had calls with them from 12pm to 12am and did link building tasks from 12am to 6am. This situation lasted 2-3 months. Finally, one day I told our team that if we achieved this week’s plan, next week we would get an office, the whole team worked until 01:00, and we finally achieved our goal. That was our first win as a team.

How has the pandemic affected your business?

Not negative sure. When it comes to the pandemic, outsourcing companies should be the last to complain. Specifically in our case, we made off-page SEO affordable, which motivates companies to outsource the project instead of hiring new staff.

In your opinion, what are the biggest challenges for our industry in the next five years?

Eventually, all manual tasks that didn’t require thinking would be automated, which would create more jobs for developers and take jobs away from people in other areas like marketing, finance, etc. As a result we would be insane salaries for developers and few jobs in the different fields.

What do you do to ensure you grow and develop as a leader?

I make sure to always keep my teammates motivated as a friend they can lean on. Another important factor is that I do all my teammates’ daily tasks from time to time to make sure I find better ways to automate and streamline their work.

Your team has worked with Wishup on a few SEO projects. How was your experience with Wishup?

Wishup was one of Saynine’s most adorable partners; Crispino’s name comes up in our office a lot more times a day than he might expect.

What advice would you give to start-up entrepreneurs out there?

From the day you become CEO, you are no longer a link builder, developer, marketer or fitness trainer. Instead, find good people you’re willing to spend your day with for years; It is easier to teach a trade than to teach to be a good person.

Well that was really amazing to get a glimpse into the mind of a young entrepreneur planning to automate his way to the top.

A big thank you to Georgi for taking the time to answer the questions. And also to his team members Arpi and Arman for being the hardworking professionals they really are.

As a bonus, Georgi has compiled three important tips to consider when opening an SEO agency in 2022. Link to video below.
